The name “Kukummi” is taken from the language of the Southern Bushmen, humankinds oldest surviving ancestors. The Bushmen were hunter gatherers, living in close harmony with nature. “Kukummi” encompassed all their stories, memories, history and legends and harkens back to a time when man was one with nature.
It is impossible to travel in Southern Africa without feeling a profound connection to the wilderness that penetrates your very being. It is our sincere hope that you will form your own “Kukummi” and take home tales and memories that warm and hearten your soul.
